I feel so blessed to have experienced the Alma Ceremony retreat! It was a holistic journey within, as well as a beautiful fellowship with an amazing circle of people. We laughed, we cried, we made music, we danced, we honored our physical, energy and soul bodies as we intentionally let go of old beliefs. The location was beautiful and perfect in the Colorado mountains during the peak of fall colors! The food was delicious and healthy all day everyday… all of our needs were met and more. Judy and David really went above and beyond to make the experience extra special and they fully participated in every practice with us throughout the retreat, as our equals. They each shared with us their unique talents and gifts and I hope to always remember the wisdom they shared and I’ll continue to send them love and gratitude for gracing me with such a beautifully profound experience in such a safe and empowering container. I had a profound emotional release on day 2 and have since found myself to be much more open and better connected to my higher self. I am forever grateful.

Alma Ceremony’s Colorado retreat transformed me. Words fall short here, perhaps miles and miles short, in making any gesture to describe the experiences…the deep beautiful connections, and the tender time in community caring for my soul. My expectations of the retreat were surpassed in every way imaginable—Judy’s peaceful loving presence, depth of knowledge, and deep spiritual intuition and connection created the most potent healing space; David’s sound bath and drumming circle shook all my cells in the best way; and the heart-full ceremonies we all shared together reminded me why we absolutely need each other. I’m a changed person. Thank you Judy and David. I’m forever grateful and can’t wait to share sacred space with you again soon.

I totally believe having Dr. Judy in my life is a divine appointment, and attending the Alma Retreat in Crestone, Colorado was divine providence. Being a fairly recent widow, I hesitate to get into public situations that get me too close to my grief because I am uncomfortable being emotional in front of strangers. Thus when the opportunity to attend the Alma Ceremony presented itself, I took a deep breath and surrendered all my hesitations. What a heavenly gift it was! The retreat was warm and welcoming and such care was taken for me as a person that I couldn’t help but open myself to the gifts that the wonderful group of attendees had to offer. We laughed, we cried, we chanted, we drummed, we soaked in spirit, we ate really good and healthy food, we celebrated in ceremony, we learned about energy chakras, we met with intuitive healers, we went to sacred places in nature, and we became really close friends in a short period of time. What a blessed encounter! I witnessed and experienced the raw beauty of grief, sacred play and animal energy, the pain of broken relationships, unconditional familial love and legacy, wisdom of elders and spirits, sacred medicine, fire, energy cleansing, creative expression, rhythms of joy, a healer’s touch, whispers from heaven, warriors, protectors, divine image bearers, and profoundly sacred moments where the veil is lifted, and the true essence of souls were seen in their eternal authentic selves. What a sacred honor to behold!

I truly wish I was a poet or writer to do justice on expressing my experience with the Alma Retreat with Judy and David in Colorado. I don’t know if I’ve ever met two more loving, invested, dedicated, honest, talented , caring people in my life. The amount of learning , growing, and feeling we all did in such a short amount of time was/is astonishing ! They created such a safe and loving space for all of us where we all opened up in a magical way. Honestly, if the whole world could go to one of their retreats this world would be a different place ! One full of love , consciousness, awareness, calm, love , laughter, and also full of delicious healthy food :):). Truly was an unforgettable and deep experience for me and to have shared it with my mom Was the icing on the cake. ! Gracias Judy and David.

Alma Ceremony came to me at a moment in my life where I was simply living for a sake of living. After losing two of my most sacred loved ones at once I felt so lost in the trenches of my own grief. From the very first moment we arrived at Crestone, I felt a deep sense of gratitude, safety and peace.The beautiful serene environment, combined with the gentleness and guidance from Judy and David, made it possible for me reconnect with myself in ways I never thought possible. The accommodations and the wonderful food were an added bonus.Every day was full of profound moments of introspect and healing. The meditations, breathing exercises, the music and spiritual practices were so powerful—they allowed me to let go of years of emotional pain, deep grief and clear the mental fog that had me clouded for so long.I can truly say that Alma Retreat saved my life. It helped me rediscover my inner strength, regain a sense of direction, and taught me how to approach life and my grief with a renewed sense of peace. I left feeling grateful, lighter, more grounded, and deeply connected to my true self.Thank you Judy and David for your healing souls, your clarity, and for teaching us the deeper meaning of our purpose. Thank you for helping me to connect with spirit, and Mother Earth. You are both a true blessing to this world.
